Good
bye Anja...
Denmark loses one of the biggest handball
female players in the world.
The heart problems didn’t allow 30 years
old Anja Andersen to continue her great career. Andersen, who was last
year under contract with the Norwegian professional club Baekkelagets Oslo,
had led Denmark to the olympic gold medal in 1996 and one year later to
the world championship.
After Andersen broke down within fewer
weeks directly twice, she had undergone to an intensive investigation.
The Danish Handball idol, which published
her Auto-biography years ago, wants to operate in the future as Co-Trainer
in Oslo.
The teams in Anja Andersen’s great career:
Stjernen, Odense
Vejle-Allested
IF Jarl Arden
Aalborg KFUM som 17 arig
Ikast FS
Viborg HK
Baekkelaget, Norway
TuS Walle Bremen, Germany
